A

  • Arrival - You will find our hotel at Rathausstraße 3 in 06108 Halle (Saale), in the immediate vicinity of the market square.
  • Dinner - The best restaurants in the city can be found on the small & large Ulrichstraße.tip: The Roots Restaurant & Bistro offers a very nice overall package of great food & relaxed atmosphere.

B

  • Rail transport - The nearest train station is Halle Central Station. You will find it on Hans-Dietrich-Genscher-Platz.
  • Library - Our small library, directly at the reception, is open daily until 2 pm for you to linger and read.
  • Fire alarm system - Due to the location and the nature of our building, our system is very sensitive. Please take care not to use hairsprays or similar directly under a smoke detector.

C

  • Check In - Our check in terminal is located in the side entrance, to the right of the large glass door. Enter your reservation number and your name and follow the steps to the end of the check-in process. No reservation number to hand? Go to "Simplified registration" and log in with your travel details.
  • Check Out - If you have any questions about checking out, our reception is always available from 7am. You can also conveniently drop your room card in the purple letterbox at the side entrance - you will automatically receive your invoice by email.

D

  • Kebab - Do you fancy a tasty kebab? You have been able to find the "Lady Eda" on Hallmarkt since 1992. A family-run store with a lot of history in Halle.

E

  • E-cars - charging stations can be found in the Hansering parking garage as well as in the Ratshof Halle. Both are just a few minutes' walk from us.
  • E-bikes - We would like to point out that the storage and charging of e-bike batteries is prohibited in our hotel. Unfortunately, fire safety regulations prohibit this.
  • Eating ice cream - We recommend the EisFvchs on Geiststraße for ice cream. In addition to the classics, EisFvchs offers all kinds of exotic flavors and the ice cream is produced fresh every day.

  • Bicycle parking - It is best to lock your bike in a bike box. The nearest boxes can be found at Graseweg 3, approx. 5 minutes' walk away. However, there are also public bicycle stands in front of the house. Please note that it is not permitted to bring bicycles into our hotel.
  • Elevator - You will find our elevator directly at the stairs to the rooms. It is also labeled on each floor.
  • Hairdryer - Every room in our hotel is equipped with a hairdryer.
  • Breakfast - Our breakfast buffet is open for you from 7-10 am and awaits you with a rich selection of hot and cold dishes. Tip: Be sure to try our hot chocolate! Very tasty!

  • Guest folder - You can access our digital guest folder via the link that was sent to you by email before your arrival or via the QR code in your hotel room. (From 15.05.2025)

  • Halle Card - The Halle Card gives you access to many museums as well as public transport, combining infrastructure and culture for a moderate price. You can purchase it online or at the tourist office on the market square.
  • Hallorenmuseum - You will find our famous chocolate museum on Delitzscher Straße. A must for every visitor to the city of Halle.
  • Building services - Have you found a faulty light bulb or the batteries in the remote control are flat? Please write it down on our building services note on your desk or let us know at reception.

  • Jogging - We recommend jogging on the Peißnitzinsel, which is about a 10-minute walk away.

K

  • Kaffee - Our kaffee machine is available daily until 2 pm. You will find it at the reception.
  • Cameras - All public areas of the hotel are monitored by cameras. This is for your safety as well as ours.
  • Hospital - The nearest hospital is the Elisabeth-Krankenhaus at Mauerstraße 5, where you will also find a 24/7 emergency room.

  • Museums - In the city you will find all kinds of museums on many different topics. The Moritzburg is a must for art enthusiasts and the Museum of Prehistory offers the right setting for history fans young and old. The tourist office of the city of Halle, directly on the market square, will point you in the right direction.
  • MOOVEME - You can use this app to plan your journeys by public transport in Halle.

N

  • List of names - If you have booked with us as a group, please send us a list of names of the people staying overnight at least 3 days before arrival.
  • Emergency - Directly behind the side entrance you will find a black wall telephone. For all emergencies around our hotel, dial "Hotel" and for all other emergencies, dial 110 (police) or 112 (ambulance/fire brigade) within 5 seconds of picking up the receiver.

P

  • Parking - We recommend the parking garage at Hansering (Hansering 21, 06108 Halle), approx. 3 minutes' walk away. Alternatively, you can use the parking garage at the Händelhaus (Dachritzstraße 10, 06108 Halle).
  • Parks - The largest park in the city is the 46-hectare Peißnitzinsel. It invites you to take a relaxing stroll or a ride on the Peißnitzbahn.

  • Smoking - is prohibited in the entire building. You will find our smoking island at the rear exit.
  • Reception - Our reception is available daily from 7 am to 3 pm.

S

  • Shopping - Leipziger Straße, about a 1-minute walk away, is the shopping mile of Halle (Saale) and offers many stores and restaurants. The nearest shopping center is the Saale-Center on Rennbahnring 9.
  • Streetcar - Almost all of the city's streetcar lines run directly from the market. Tickets are available from the ticket machines or on the streetcar.
  • Supermarket - The nearest supermarket is REWE at Leipziger Straße 94.

T

  • Terrace - Our terrace is also available for your breakfast on sunny days. Of course, you are also welcome to sit and relax on our terrace in the evening. Please pay attention to the noise level for the benefit of other guests and residents. From 10 p.m. the entire building is closed for the night.
  • Table reservations - Please understand that we cannot make table reservations in our breakfast room.
  • Tourist office - You will find this directly on the market square. In addition to all kinds of souvenirs, you will also find the popular Halle Card here.
  • TV channel list - you can find this via the QR code on your closet or via the link to our digital guest folder.

W

  • WCs - can be found on the first floor in the breakfast room and of course in your hotel room.
  • WLAN - You will find our WLAN access data on your closet.

  • Zoo - The Bergzoo Halle is located approx. 4.5 km from our hotel. Tickets are available at the entrance as well as at the tourist information office on the market square.
